Auburn & Opelika’s locally-owned pool company — serving this community since 2004.
Our Story
Clear H2O has been Auburn and Opelika’s go-to pool company since April 2004, when Jason and Joe started the business as a service-only operation. What started as a straightforward commitment to clean pools and honest service has grown into one of the most trusted names in the area — not because of advertising, but because of word-of-mouth from homeowners who keep coming back year after year.
In March 2011, we opened our brick-and-mortar store at 520 Opelika Road, giving customers a local place to pick up chemicals, supplies, and equipment. We’re locally owned and operated — when you call us, you’re talking to someone who lives in this community, knows the local climate, and understands what Auburn-area pools go through season to season. No national call center, no franchise playbook — just experienced hands and straight answers.
Over 20 years in business, we’ve seen every pool problem imaginable. Green water, worn-out liners, failed equipment, winter damage — we’ve handled it all. That experience is what you get when you work with us.
The People Behind the Work
Clear H2O is owned and run by two people who genuinely love what they do — and it shows in every job they take.
Co-Owner & Pool Service Expert
Jason is the face most customers meet first, and the reason so many of them never leave. With 31 years of experience in the pool industry and over 20 years running Clear H2O alongside Joe, he has built a reputation for doing things right the first time. Whether it’s a weekly chemical balance or a full liner replacement, Jason handles every job with the kind of care you’d only expect from someone who takes pride in their work. Customers regularly call him out by name in reviews — that says everything.
Co-Owner & Equipment Specialist
Joe is the guy who keeps the technical side running. With 29 years of experience in the pool industry, he knows pool equipment inside and out — from pumps and filters to robotic cleaning systems. He’s the one who will walk you through your options without the upsell, explain exactly what your system needs, and make sure everything is installed and working correctly. Customers consistently describe him as patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to work with.
How We Work
We’re not a franchise or a national chain. Clear H2O is independently owned, and every job we take reflects directly on our reputation in this community.
With decades of experience in pool service, liner installation, and equipment repair, we don’t send rookies to your backyard. You get experienced technicians who know what they’re doing.
From routine weekly maintenance to full liner replacements and in-store chemicals — we handle everything. No need to juggle multiple vendors for your pool needs.
We tell you what your pool actually needs — not what generates the biggest invoice. Our customers keep coming back because we treat their pool like it’s our own.
Services & Supplies
Clear H2O operates both a service business and a brick-and-mortar store at 520 Opelika Road. Stop in for chemicals, supplies, and advice — or call us to schedule a service visit. We stock the latest pool equipment including pumps, filters, and robotic cleaning systems.
What Customers Say
Every thing that I ask Jason to do is expert service. Have done business with him for 20+ years!! Highly recommended
These guys are great. I knew nothing about a pool when we bought a house with a pool but Jason and Joe have been so helpful in bringing me up to speed. Their place of business is a hole in the wall, but both are great people to work with. If you like working with good people, this is the place for you!
Jason and Joe both took extensive time to answer all of our questions. Provided expert advice on things to ask, guidance on purchases, and all the pros and cons on different systems. Will be using them for all of our maintenance needs in the future
Very outstanding employee took time to explain everything about pools and chemicals.
